You may be thinking about moving to Fort Collins. You may have already arrived. Either way you are trying to figure out the answer to this question. Well, I feel, the answer to this question is quite easy to answer. In my opinion there are so many things. I will start with just a few.
One thing that makes Fort Collins special is our trail system that can be used for biking, walking you or your dog, running and just plain fun. Fort Collins has nearly 50 miles of trails that snake through the City. There is the Poudre River Trail, Spring Creek Trail and the Power Trail just to name the top three.
Another thing is that our parks and open spaces. The city has many large special parks, each with its own theme. Additionally, We have City Park, our oldest park, over 100 years old, Twin Silos Park and Fossil Creek Park just to name a few of our biggest and best.
One of the things that I like about Fort Collins is the location. We are close to Denver for all that Denver has to offer and close to recreation like Horsetooth Reservoir just outside of town. Additionally, the Poudre Canyon is close by for fishing, rafting and hiking. Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park are also nearby.
A Few More Reasons
Fort Collins is known for our restaurants and breweries. We have more restaurants per capita than any other city west of the Mississippi River, with the exception of San Francisco. Additionally, it is also home the Odell Brewing Company and New Belgium. Both have become nationally recognized.
Fort Collins is known for its quality school system. We are also home to Colorado State University (GO RAMS!!!) and Fort Range Community College.
Our town has wonderful diverse employment opportunities. Everything from high tech, which includes HP and Broadcom and other small spinoffs to Colorado State University, Anheuser Busch and Woodward.
These are just some of the reasons why Fort Collins is award winning and such a great place to live and they also make it a great place to invest in real estate. Contact us and we can provide a personalized tour of the area.
